Still and Bedford
Still and Bedford Opticians, with branches in Moordown and Ferndown, have been our sponsors for several years now and we are extremely grateful for their continued support.
Click on their logo above to go to their website to find out more about how they can help you.
The Ferndown practice is now accepting NHS patients and Moordown will follow suit very soon.
As an amateur sports club our members’ annual subscriptions are our main source of income. Supplementary amounts come from bar takings after games, visits by touring bowls clubs and during the various social events we hold in the clubhouse.
However, with running costs going up all the time we are looking for more sponsors to contribute towards things like the upkeep of the green, council maintenance fees, bowls equipment and other ancillary expenses.
What are the benefits of becoming a sponsor of Richmond Park Bowls Club?
Local connections
People tend to buy from businesses that have a connection to their local community, so you could reach an audience you might not previously have considered targeting by having your company’s advertising board placed in a prominent position on the perimeter of our green. It would be seen not only by our club members, but by bowlers from the other local clubs we compete against weekly during the bowling season.
Visibility is key
St. Alban’s Church is very close by and their congregation uses Fitzharris Avenue to park during services, and the busy children's playground and tennis courts are right next door to us, so the variety of people having the opportunity to see your company’s name is clear. The clubhouse backs onto the very popular Winton Recreation Ground and could also accommodate an advertisement for your business.

We look forward to hearing from you
We're looking for a kind-hearted and generous sponsor who is willing to sponsor us for a defibrillator. Not only could it save lives among our members and visiting players, it would also benefit the wider public, because we're situated right next to the busy children's play area and tennis courts at Winton Recreation Ground.
